2.1 HVAC Services

We provide the following services across the United Kingdom:

  • Emergency breakdown services

  • Warranty and post-installation support

2.2 Service Areas

Our services are available throughout England, Scotland, and Wales. Specific service availability may vary by location, and additional charges may apply for remote areas.

2.3 Qualifications and Certifications

All our engineers are:

  • Gas Safe registered where applicable
  • Fully qualified and certified HVAC technicians
  • Covered by comprehensive public liability insurance
  • Subject to regular training and competency assessments

3. Booking and Scheduling

3.2 Quotations

Quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to site survey confirmation and may vary based on actual conditions found.

3.3 Appointment Scheduling

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred appointment times. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Emergency services are available 24/7 at premium rates.

3.4 Access Requirements

You must ensure that our engineers have safe and reasonable access to all areas where work is to be performed. This includes providing access to electrical supplies, water supplies, and adequate working space.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Pricing Structure

Our pricing includes:

  • Labour charges based on time and complexity
  • Materials and equipment at cost plus handling fee
  • Travel costs for locations outside our standard service area
  • VAT at the current rate where applicable

4.2 Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

  • Small repairs and maintenance: Payment due on completion
  • Installations under £2,000: 50% deposit, remainder on completion
  • Large installations over £2,000: Staged payments as agreed in writing
  • Commercial accounts: Net 30 days with approved credit terms

4.3 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payment by:

  • Cash
  • Bank transfer (BACS)
  • Credit and debit cards
  • Company purchase orders (approved commercial accounts)

4.4 Late Payment

Late payment charges may apply at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts with overdue payments.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

5.1 Workmanship Warranty

We provide a 12-month warranty on all installation work and a 90-day warranty on repair work. This warranty covers defects in workmanship but excludes normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by third parties.

5.2 Equipment Warranties

New equipment is covered by manufacturer warranties, which we will help you claim if needed. We are not responsible for manufacturer defects but will assist with warranty claims as an authorized dealer.

5.3 Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper use or maintenance
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from external factors (power surges, flooding, etc.)
  • Modifications made by other parties
  • Failure to follow recommended maintenance schedules

5.4 Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, contact us within the warranty period with proof of purchase and description of the issue. We will inspect the work and remedy any defects covered by the warranty at no charge.

6. Health and Safety

6.1 Our Responsibilities

We are committed to maintaining high health and safety standards:

  • All engineers carry appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Risk assessments are conducted before work begins
  • Work areas are left clean and safe
  • All relevant safety regulations and building codes are followed

6.2 Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Informing us of any known hazards or safety concerns
  • Ensuring pets and children are kept away from work areas
  • Providing safe access to work areas
  • Following any safety instructions provided by our engineers

6.3 Gas Safety

For gas-related work, we are Gas Safe registered and follow all relevant gas safety regulations. We will issue appropriate gas safety certificates where required by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 General Limitations

Our liability is limited as follows:

  • Total liability shall not exceed the contract value for the specific service
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
  • We are not liable for losses not caused by our negligence
  • Claims must be made within 12 months of the incident

7.2 Insurance Coverage

We maintain comprehensive public liability insurance of £2 million and professional indemnity insurance. Insurance certificates are available upon request.

7.3 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, labour disputes, or government actions.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

8.1 Customer Cancellation Rights

You may cancel services under the following conditions:

  • Appointments: 24 hours notice required to avoid call-out charges
  • Contracts under £100: Full refund if cancelled before work begins
  • Contracts over £100: Cancellation charges may apply for ordered materials
  • Emergency services: Cannot be cancelled once engineer is dispatched

8.2 Our Cancellation Rights

We may cancel or refuse service if:

  • Safe working conditions cannot be maintained
  • Required permits or approvals are not obtained
  • Payment terms are not met
  • The customer behaves inappropriately towards our staff

8.3 Refund Policy

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of cancellation approval. Refunds for materials are subject to restocking fees unless goods are returned in original condition.

We dispose of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations and support sustainable practices wherever possible.

12. Complaints and Disputes

12.1 Complaint Procedure

If you're dissatisfied with our service:

  2. We will investigate and respond within 5 working days
  3. If unresolved, the matter will be escalated to senior management

12.2 Alternative Dispute Resolution

If we cannot resolve a dispute directly, we agree to participate in mediation through a recognized trade body or mediation service.

13. General Provisions

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

13.2 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between us.

13.3 Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email or website notice. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
